Birthday weekend

I have had a BLAST! 

First of all, went drinkies with my friends from work. There was much talking, debating, and general fun. My friends Eden and Jenny contributed to my big birthday prezzie (more later), and too many pitchers of cocktails were had. 

We were joined later on by my conhusbando, her evil twin, and my Twinny and it was lovely (although VERY warm). Also, why is it that when you've been drinking, you can manage to not go to the bathroom for a while, but after that, you HAVE to go every ten minutes? My friend Jenny calls it "breaking the seal" xDDD

So afterwards, we all bounced home, slightly hyped, and very excited for the upcoming weekend.

And waiting for me at home were a tableful of prezzies! I got so much stuff: 3 Sailor Moon figurines (I have no idea if I should unbox them or not, still debating that one), a notebook with cats on the outside, a Gamescon exclusive tee from FFXV, a FFXV lanyard, a FFXV rubber bracelet (do these have a specific name? the silicone ones?), FFXIV for PS4, Clow Cards from Card Captor Sakura and a cute lil card wallet with a GAME gift card in it!

And a cake. Raspberry and lemon with [Placeholder_Happy_Birthday] written on it (inside tester joke xDDD).

I am truly spoilt.

So we drank some, and chatted and squeed and then went to bed, because it was 2am and I had been up since 6 to prettify myself (apparently it worked, because everybody at work told me I looked lovely ♥).

So, Saturday, we get up, have some breakfast, and slowwwwwly head out to town. I had giftcards to spend and was impatient to do so! We looked around town, showing Reading off to my friends (they love it ) and showed them the local board game shop which has just moved to a lovely nice BIG new place. We were going to get Concept, but when we returned later, it seemed that 2 hours of waiting so as to not carry it around made us miss it :c.

Anyway, after much faffing around, (including lunch with a free milkshake from Ed's WOO) we FINALLY went to GAME. And there I found that I had more than enough to get my beloved PS4.

SQUEE I HAVE A PS4!!!!!!!!!!! I traded in the game it came with (fuck you FIFA 16 with a sandpaper dildo) and got FF Type-0 instead.

OMG HAVE I MENTIONED THAT MY FRIENDS HELP ME FINALLY PAY FOR MY PS4??? THEY PAID A FUCKING THIRD OF IT!!!!

I have the best friends.

So,we went home, and we set it up, and I download the games I can because I already have them on PS3, and I cover my PS4 in cat stickers (I need a Sephiroth decal for it...) and I realise I am fucking exhausted. Problem? It's 5pm and we have reservations for dinner at 8... :/

So we call up, cancel the table (bet they were thrilled to have a surprise vacate on a Saturday evening) and set it for today lunchtime instead. And then have a nap. Like all of us. We were knackered.

We then sat around and played Monopoly (Zelda version, we ARE nerds after all...) and Munchkin. At this point I have to say I think we have created a monster with because she is WAY too into Munchkin xDDD And drank cider and had Japanese food for dinner. We went to bed late AGAIN. Which was kinda the plan. I just wish my brain would realise that. I was up before 8 on the Saturday and before 9 on the Sunday :<

So today we went for lunch and OMG Cosmo is AMAZING. It's buffet style, but they literally have 7 counters of food, plus another 2 for deserts. They have a chocolate fountain. A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN WITH MARSHMELLOWS AND SWEETS. Why, no, I'm not still on a sugar rush, why do you ask.

We got back home, played some more Monopoly, Carcassone and then my friends had to leave :< I went for a nap xD
